One connected learning environment

Practice the workflow, not just the vocabulary.

Learn SQL inside a browser-based lab, build a working ETL pipeline, turn transformed data into a dashboard, and practice explaining every decision.

A clear conversation about your goals, schedule, and starting point. No job or income promises.

The real problem

Knowing a few commands is not the same as knowing what to do next.

Many aspiring analysts can follow a tutorial. The difficulty begins when the answer is removed and they must inspect the data, choose an approach, recover from an error, and explain why the result matters.

01

Videos without retrieval

Watching can feel productive while the skill disappears when the screen closes.

02

Tools learned in isolation

SQL, ETL, and dashboards make more sense when they are parts of one business workflow.

03

Projects with the answer built in

A polished copy does not create the confidence to make your own technical decisions.

The LearnFi progression

One path. Four visible milestones. No guessing what comes next.

Each stage prepares you for the next environment. Projects unlock through completed work, not by skipping ahead or waiting for instructor approval.

01

Foundation

Learn and recall

  • Prerecorded lessons
  • Slide-by-slide review
  • Quick recall checks
  • Required submissions
02

Practice

Work in SQL Lab

  • AdventureWorks database
  • Run your own queries
  • Inspect objects and errors
  • Return to saved work
03

Build

Assemble the ETL flow

  • Select and connect tools
  • Transform raw data
  • Run and validate the flow
  • Preview the output
04

Present

Create the dashboard

  • Use transformed data
  • Build useful visuals
  • Test filters and layout
  • Explain the decisions

Practice that resembles the job

Build familiarity before the workplace expects it.

The interface is designed to make professional workflows feel less foreign. It does not pretend a training lab is a production company system.

LearnFi SQL Lab workspaceSQL Lab

Write, run, debug, and save.

Explore database objects, work through errors, and keep your query tabs and database changes tied to your profile.

LearnFi ETL Designer workspaceETL Designer

Move raw data through a real flow.

Choose components, connect stages, configure transformation logic, execute the project, and inspect the result.

LearnFi Dashboard Studio workspaceDashboard Studio

Turn the model into a decision.

Arrange visuals freely, test filters, preview the report, and communicate the useful story behind the numbers.

What is included

Not just lessons. The complete practice system around them.

The program is designed for students who need the learning material, the place to practice, the project sequence, and the accountability to stay connected.

Check whether the program fits
01

Eight guided SQL lessons

Video, slides, recall, and submissions in a repeatable weekly flow.

02

Persistent SQL practice environment

Your query work and database changes remain available across sessions.

03

End-to-end ETL and dashboard project

Build the pipeline and report from raw data instead of copying a finished answer.

04

Automatic assignment checking

Know after submission what is correct and what needs another attempt.

05

Application resources after projects

Unlock the tracker and mock-interview preparation after completing the required work.

06

Two structured mock interviews

Establish a baseline, use focused improvement notes, and return to demonstrate progress.

Your eight-week SQL foundation

Build the language that powers the rest of the project.

Week 01

SQL foundations

Understand databases, tables, rows, columns, and the structure of a query before writing your first statements.

Week 02

Data integrity and constraints

Work with keys, relationships, constraints, and the rules that keep business data reliable.

Week 03

Logic and useful functions

Filter, compare, calculate, and shape results with logical expressions and built-in SQL functions.

Week 04

Joining business data

Connect related tables and learn how join choices change the meaning and completeness of a result.

Week 05

Subqueries, CTEs, CASE, and UNION

Break larger questions into readable steps and combine results without losing the business logic.

Week 06

Window functions

Create rankings, running calculations, and comparisons while preserving row-level detail.

Week 07

Variables and control flow

Use variables, conditions, and loops to understand how repeatable database logic is assembled.

Week 08

Stored procedures and SQL Agent jobs

Package reusable logic, understand scheduled database work, and connect the pieces into a professional workflow.

Built from real data work

The messy parts belong in the training.

LearnFi founder Yared Assefa brings SQL development experience across banking, aviation, healthcare, and other business environments into the way students practice.

The focus is not memorizing a perfect demo. It is learning how to inspect what is available, test carefully, make decisions visible, and recover when the first attempt does not work.

A useful fit check

This program asks you to participate.

Knowing who should not enroll is just as important as knowing who should.

A strong fit if…
  • You want structure but can work independently.
  • You can commit roughly four to six hours in a typical week.
  • You are willing to troubleshoot instead of immediately asking for the answer.
  • You want to connect SQL, ETL, dashboards, and communication.
Not a strong fit if…
  • You want a guaranteed job, salary, or timeline.
  • You only want videos and do not plan to complete the practice.
  • You want every project decision made for you.
  • You cannot make consistent room for the weekly work right now.

Before you book

Questions serious students usually ask.

Do I need previous data experience?

No previous data job is required. The program begins with relational database and SQL foundations, but students should be comfortable using a computer and willing to practice independently.

Are lessons live or prerecorded?

The core lessons are prerecorded so students can study around work and family responsibilities. The portal keeps lesson, slide, and assignment progress tied to the student profile.

Will the program give me the project answers?

No. Lessons and slides provide the concepts. Students use those references to create their own queries, ETL flow, transformation logic, and dashboard decisions.

How do the projects unlock?

Complete every lesson requirement to unlock the ETL project. Complete the ETL task to unlock Dashboard Studio. Instructor approval is not required once the work is complete.

Does LearnFi guarantee a job?

No. LearnFi provides education, practice environments, project work, and eligible career preparation. Employment depends on many factors outside any training program.

What happens after the application?

If your answers match the program expectations, you will continue directly to scheduling. If the timing is not right, you will receive a free preparation path and can return when your situation changes.

Step two · program fit

Check your readiness before choosing a call time.

The application reviews your goal, timeline, weekly availability, learning expectations, and investment readiness. It never asks for banking, card, Social Security, or credit information.
